Stonely_front_cover, Leather cover of Stonely Album
This leather bound album with brass clasps was designed specifically for wedding photographs. Although this front is quite plain the back tooling shows wedding flowers. The illustrated pages all show wedding bells, pink ribbons, stephanotis and jasmine flowers. Despite the wedding theme the album contain no obvious celebration of a wedding. Six of the 24 photos were taken in India and others relate mainly to Kent. But one child is named (Dorothy Violet Stonely who can be found on the 1901 census in Wrexham. In the absence of other evidence this album is located to that address.
