Charles George Biddle and Lewis F Dowdall operated a photographers business from 1 Ondine Road, Camberwell, London for a few years between 1892 and June 1901 (when it closed). Lewis (or Louis) was a lodger with Charles, his wife, two children and a servant and the business was run from the family house. Violet Dowdall age 15 is listed as photographers book-keeper at the Dowdall family house in Wandsworth. In 1891 Charles is listed as a purveyor of horse flesh and in 1911 he is a sawyer so the business was short-lived.
