1918-USK_LLanllowell_Pvt_Douglas

Scanned from a glass negative by Henry Dunning of Usk, Monmouthshire. This is Private Douglas a photograph take in 1918 showing him prepared to start a race. It's probably posed because he is not on a starting line. His lightweight and thin soled running shoes are very different from sports shoes today.

No further information has been found about this man so this photograph is geolocated to the photographers studio.
